Well, now that we have seen a tournament, and see that we would fair pretty well, when are we (our shcool) going to participate? The experience of a tournament might go a long way for some.
By competeing a student will get to see how to apply what they have been learning for up to and over a year now. Students would also be able to gain very practicle experience by competing against other people and different styles. No matter the outcome every student should walk away from a tournament with something (knowing what they need to work on, pick up another move, gain confidence, etc...). _________________ Let 'er Rip! |

After everyone left I talked to the guys who run the tournaments. They were quite recepted and I signed a thing to get on their mailing list. They weren't sure when their next tournament in the area would be. They talked about the one in columbus in March. As soon as one comes to the area I'll be sure to let you guys know. They agreed to let me attend their black belt clinics even though I am not a black belt yet. They said that it would help me to understand their rules and coach you guys. See you tomorrow! |
